According to the requirements of the Announcement on Simplifying the Application Materials, Optimizing the Workflow and Shortening the Review Period, in order to effectively reduce the burden on the applicant, the trademark agency and the applicant are requested to pay attention to the following matters when handling various paper-based trademark applications:
1、 When the same applicant applies for the registration of multiple trademarks at the same time, it only needs to provide a copy of the identity document (such as the copy of the business license) and a power of attorney (the power of attorney "trademark" is left blank).
Note: This means that every trademark does not need a certificate.
2、 When the same applicant applies for trademark change, transfer, renewal, cancellation and use permit filing at the same time, whether it involves multiple businesses or multiple trademarks, only one copy of identity document (such as duplicate of business license) and power of attorney (power of attorney shall include all businesses handled and all trademarks) shall be provided, Other documents with the same content (such as the change certificate provided when changing the name of the registrant) only need to be provided with one copy.
Note: This means that every trademark does not need a certificate.
3、 For relevant applications without copies of identity documents and power of attorney and other documents attached, please clearly indicate the specific application where the relevant documents are located. For example, in the blank space of the application, note "See the application for change of No. XXXXX trademark for the copy of change certification documents, the copy of business license, and the original power of attorney"; The power of attorney shall specify all business types and trademarks handled by the applicant this time.
Note: If there is no supporting document, it needs to be explained in the form of notes.
When filling in the application form and the power of attorney, the agency and the applicant can refer to the sample form attached in the annex, and the attached page of the power of attorney also needs the seal (signature) of the client.
Note: The power of attorney must be signed and printed by the applicant, otherwise it will be invalid.
